Seven Things I Wish I Knew Before Going Carnivore
When I started carnivore, I didn’t prepare. I jumped in out of necessity. But there are things that
would have saved me stress, confusion, and discomfort in the beginning.
These are the seven lessons I learned the hard way.
- Choose fatty cuts of meat
- Keep bone broth ready
- Use electrolytes when diarrhea or palpitations appear
- Run labs every 6–12 months
- Stay hydrated
- Expect loose stools in the first week
- Find some form of support

temporary. Preparation doesn’t eliminate the adjustment period, but it removes the fear.
