Why LabCorp Became My Most Reliable Health Tool
I use glucose meters and a CGM daily, but they only show trends. They don’t reveal the full
metabolic picture. CGMs can drift. Glucose meters vary. They’re helpful, but they’re not
diagnostic.
The numbers that change your life are the ones on your lab work.
Every 6–12 months, I run a full LabCorp panel to track fasting insulin, glucose, CRP, thyroid
markers, nutrients, liver function, and mineral status. These labs showed me patterns long before
symptoms appeared.
These tests taught me:
• insulin rises for years before glucose does
• inflammation drops significantly on carnivore
• electrolytes must be monitored during diarrhea episodes
• certain supplements were unnecessary
• fasting and carnivore improved my metabolic stability
Symptoms tell part of the story. Labs tell the truth.
Understanding your numbers isn’t about fear. It’s about clarity and control.
